Karuna Cancer Hospital and Research Centre is a well-known Health Care institution situated at Pallipadi village of Thirurangadi Taluk in Malappuram district under Wisdom Healthcare, a project envisioned by Wisdom Islamic Organization.

It originally started as Karuna Pain and Palliative Care in 1998 by a group of dedicated people with the aim of providing quality health care for free to indigent patients suffering from terminal diseases.

In 2013, Wisdom Islamic Organization took over this institution and revamped it into a Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.  In addition to the cancer treatment and palliative care services, the dialysis centre stated in 2018, which has around 30 dialysis units provides relief for many kidney patients.

Apart from the above, various treatments for mental disorders and drug addiction treatment are also provided here.
